Abstract

İnvagination is a clinical entity, which describes infolding of proximal part of the intestine with in distal part. Only 5% of the invaginations occur in adulthood. İnflammatory polyp, is a rare disorder, which may present in anywhere of gastrointestinal tract but mostly originated from gastral antrum. We report a 42-year-old patient who developed an ileocholic invagination due to a giant polypoid mass on terminal ileum. To whom we performed terminal ileum resection with right hemicholectomy and pathologic examination showed that the mass is inflammatory polyp.
