Abstract

Celiac disease (CD) is a multiorgan involved systemic disease that most commonly affects the gut but also affects other organs. Up to 10% of patients with CD and gastrointestinal symptoms have otherwise unexplained neurological presentations. In this paper we report a case with the final diagnosis of celiac disease while being investigated for the underlying etiology of iron deficient anemia, peripheral neuropathy, and gait and speech disturbances.
